The Brandon Town Hall presents
a free family concert with The Doughboys
on Saturday, October 4, 2008

The Friends of the Brandon Town Hall are pleased to invite their friends and neighbors, young and old, to a free family concert with The Doughboys on Saturday, October 4, at 6:30 P.M. at the historic Brandon Town Hall. The free concert will celebrate the recent re-opening of the Town Hall and the spirit of community that makes Brandon one of Vermont's most active and exciting small towns.

The Doughboys, Addison County's own boy band, are now in their tenth year of entertaining Vermonters with energetic performances of upbeat, family-friendly original rock and pop. Don't miss The Doughboys in concert at the Brandon Town Hall on Saturday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m.!

To date The Friends of the Brandon Town Hall have raised well over $400,000 for the Brandon Town Hall restoration project through grants, fundraisers and donations. Of this, $134,000 has come from the Walter Cerf Community Fund, $70,000 has come from Senator Patrick Leahy and the Preservation Trust of Vermont through the Village Revitalization Initiative, $50,000 has come from the State of Vermont, $40,000 has come from the Freeman Foundation and the Preservation Trust of Vermont, $35,000 has come from the Town of Brandon, $10,000 has come from the Vermont Community Foundation, $20,000 has come from the Vermont Arts Council, $7,500 has come from the National Bank of Middlebury, $6,000 has come from the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and over $60,000 has come from individual donors and fundraising events.
